PREMIUM OPTION WITH DRUM

Underground containers are intended for collection of municipal waste gathered by individual users or business entities. The fundamental advantage of underground containers is space-saving and minimisation of waste collection costs through high-capacity containers hidden underground.

Placing container underground ensures storage of waste in lower temperatures than outside which allows to delay waste decomposition and avoid releasing unpleasant smell to the surroundings.

An equally important advantage of containers of this type are aesthetic reasons as a small disposal column and an upper platform covering the container are the only visible elements of the container system. The platform is made of chequer plate coated in anti-slip coating to maintain the highest safety standards, alternatively, the platform may be adapted to surroundings and covered with any material, e.g. sett.

Underground container – container structure

Pavement platform

Base platform is an element connecting disposal column with the underground part placed in the ground, ensuring among others easy access to underground container and preventing permeating of water to the underground part. The platform is manufactured in conformance with the requirements of EN PN 13071 ensuring all safety, durability and use ergonomics rules are adhered to. In the standard version the platform is made of chequer plate, and, depending on user’s needs, it may be made of other materials (sett, concrete slabs, wood or rubber), e.g. matched to a relevant location of underground containers.

Safety platform

By default our underground containers are fitted with safety platform designed according to the requirements of EN PN 13071 ensuring the highest safety standards are met.

Safety platform protects (underground space created after pulling out the container when emptying) against accidental falling of operators or third parties.

The platform structure functions unattended. It is pulled out and retracted automatically in the course of pulling out and returning containers at waste collection.

Internal container for waste

Internal container for waste is a steel structure intended for gathering waste.

It is manufactured in compliance with EN PN 13071 standard. For its production we use metal plate protected against corrosion, among others by hot dip galvanisation.

We offer three basic container capacities, 3, 4 and 5 m3, adapted to various requirements of users.

The containers are emptied through bottom door which special structure enables simultaneous gathering of possible leachate.

Underground concrete prefabricated unit

Underground (reinforced) concrete prefabricated unit is made of HA 350 reinforced concrete, with a central gully for liquid draining, ensuring water resistance and long life confirmed by us through granting a 10-year warranty! The concrete prefabricated unit is an element located underground and constituting fundament for installation of underground container, mainly internal waste container.

Emptying system

Containers are emptied with use of vehicles with standard two-hook hydraulic vehicle crane system, the same as commonly used in the Polish market for emptying out containers of “bell/igloo” type where one hook is used for pulling out the container over the surface and the other for handling closing flaps. When the container is emptied out the concrete tank is secured by automatically pulled out safety platform to prevent accidents.

Mechanical system is used for container emptying that facilitates pulling out containers from concrete tanks. All elements are made of materials meeting relevant technical and safety standards. We also offer one-hook, three-hook and Kinshofer type systems.

Installation

Construction permit is required for installation of underground container. Order of installation works:

• Making a pit in the ground in line with dimensions,

• Installation of concrete prefabricated unit in the pit,

• Installation of underground container in the concrete prefabricated unit,

• Levelling and finishing works around the container.

Depending on conditions, the installation of undergrounds container takes up to several hours.
